Over the last 5 years, Tanzania's industrial sector has grown by an average of 8% annually. This growth has been very strong, but infrastructure issues have prevented it from being even stronger. One of the major obstacles to continued growth is the lack of a reliable power grid. Particularly in recent months, power-outages during working hours have become alarmingly commonplace. These cause unnecessary disruption to businesses whilst also driving up overheads thanks to the
